Melbourne Adventure Diary 1

This was my first real trip to Melbourne, Victoria and so my sister and i made it into a sister trip. the weather was sooo cold compared to sunny humid north Queensland where we are from but we enjoyed the freezing cold anyway. on our first day we arrived about 3pm so once we checked into our hotel we went exploring the city. cam across some beautiful old buildings and found our way down to Melbourne central shopping.

They had lil vintage stalls set up inside the open shopping complex. which was pretty kool. they were selling so much nice vintage stuff i had to contain myself to buy so much. but i didn't get anything from these stalls as they were very expensive for some for the vintage items. we did some damage there in the mall found this awesome goth/indie/vintage shop called Danger Filed and we picked up a few great bargains there.

The next morning was 5degrees so to me thats very cold. and we found this amazing american style cafe just next to the Victoria markets food was delicious and so cheap too.

At the Vic markets i managed to buy a cow hide rug it is amazinggg and got it for quarter the price you'd buy in cairns or anywhere else. i bought a hat also as im totally obsessed with them atm.

the next stop we made was the famous shopping destination Chapel street, one side was really goo for shopping the other not so much. a lot of the vintage op shops i was told to go to along chapel street had closed down so i was pretty disappointed with the shopping along there. but on the upside i did find Ben & Jerry's ice cream & some really cool lane alley street art and some weird op shops that were still there. :)
